Drop-in visits don’t need a reservation. Visitors can play as long as they want. If we are at capacity, we might have to turn you away, so please call in advance during busy times like weekends and holidays.
Dress for the mess! Both adults and children can fully enjoy our studio, when they don’t have to worry about their clothes. Additionally, young children may have bathroom accidents when deeply immersed in activities. We recommend bringing an extra set of clothing, including socks, just in case.
We welcome children and adults of all ages. Our studio is geared towards children who are walking. We are wheelchair accessible.
We have aprons and smocks. We also have a box of second-hand clothes for children to borrow in case you forget to bring an extra set.
We kindly ask you to remove the street shoes in the studio. Indoor shoes can be worn or socks.
We provide slippers.
Please don’t move materials from station to station.
We want you to have fun, create, experiment, but please be respectful of the materials.
Food and drinks: you are welcome to bring your snacks and consume them in our “picnic” area.
Strollers: sadly, we can’t accommodate strollers inside the studio. We are happy to lend you a lock.
In case we are at capacity, and you are put on the waitlist, here is a list of nearby places, where you can wait:

Process art is an approach to art making, that emphasizes the creative process over the final product. It encourages exploration, experimentation, and personal expression without the pressure of achieving a "perfect" result. We provide no directions or instructions during the creative process, allowing children to follow their inner guide. We ask guiding, open-ended questions about their creations, about their choice of color, material, placement and technique. These questions aim to encourage creative thinking and promote self-expression.
Focus on Exploration:
Artists (children) are encouraged to try new things and see where their creativity leads.Freedom of Expression:
There are no right or wrong ways to create.Child-Led and Open-Ended:
In process art, the creator (a child) makes decisions about what to create, how to use materials, and when the piece is "done."Learning Through Doing:
The process itself teaches problem-solving, decision-making, and creative thinking.Focus on Sensory Experience:
The tactile and sensory experiences of manipulating materials are a key part of the enjoyment and learning. -
We encourage parents to wait in the picnic area or in the comfy chairs in the studio during workshops. All children are supervised during the workshop. If you decide to stay with your child during the workshop, we kindly ask you to let them lead their project. It is important to allow them independence in their creative exploration.

We understand life is unpredictable at times. Workshops cancelled 24 hours in advance are fully refunded. Same day cancellations are not refunded, but we are happy to apply the credit for another workshop. No-call, no-shows are not refunded. Special circumstances are discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Our studio is designed with kids in mind. Our staff takes annual first aid training. We have first aid kit in the studio. We make all the effort to have a safe space for your child, however, ultimately your child is your responsibility. Thank you for understanding.
